Incoming Fighting Saint Commits to Defending National Champions

Caelum Dick has committed to playing his college hockey for the University of Denver Pioneers, defending NCAA National Champions.

"Committing to Denver was an easy decision for me," Dick said. "It's an amazing school and what really stood out to me is how many players they get to the next level."

A member of the Sherwood Park Crusaders (AJHL, Canada) during the 2021-22 season, Dick amassed 32 points in 58 games. His strong skating ability and high level puck movement were on full display while attending Fighting Saints Main Camp in St. Louis, MO last June.

Dick, a right-shot defenseman selected in Phase II of last May's USHL Draft, is slated to join the Fighting Saints for the 2022-23 season.

"We are excited for Caelum and his family on his commitment to Denver" Kalle Larsson, General Manager & President of Hockey Operations, said. "We look forward to seeing him in Dubuque this fall"

Dick will join goaltender Paxton Geisel as future 'Pios' to suit up for the Fighting Saints this season.
