Forward Alex Steeves (Notre Dame, DBQ 2016–18) earned Big Ten Second Team honors after posting 32 points in 29 games with the Fighting Irish this year. Notre Dame will play in the 2021 NCAA Tournament as the four seed, and will play Boston College. TSN's Darren Dreger reports that Steeves is drawing NHL interest after his breakout year.

Forward Riese Gaber (DBQ 2018–20) captured the NCHC Tournament title in his freshman season with the Fighting Hawks, and did it in grand style. He earned All-Tournament Team honors, and was named Most Outstanding Player in the tournament.

Forward Jan Kern (DBQ 2017–18) and defenseman Jeff Baum (DBQ 2017–18) helped the American International College Yellow Jackets to an Atlantic Hockey Conference championship for the second consecutive season.

The wild ride for Niagara University head coach Jason Lammers (DBQ 2015–17) and defenseman Jordan Wishman (DBQ 2016–17) came to an end in the Atlantic Hockey semifinals after a one-goal loss to AIC.

Forward Johnny Gaudreau (DBQ 2010–11) is three games away from hitting the 500 mark, all with the Calgary Flames. He has 470 points, good for a 0.95 points-per-game average.

In 24 games with the Pittsburgh Penguins, defenseman Mike Matheson (DBQ 2011–12) has four points, and is a plus-1. Matheson was dealt to Pittsburgh from Florida in the offseason.

Forward Eric Robinson (DBQ 2013–14) is on the hunt for a new career high in points with the Columbus Blue Jackets. He has nine points in 33 games, and needs just three more to tie his previous career high of 12, posted last year.

Forward Dylan Gambrell (DBQ 2012–15) scored his second goal of the season, and the seventh in his NHL career, on Saturday night for the San Jose Sharks. Gambrell is in his second full season with the Sharks.
