DUBUQUE, Iowa — Dubuque Fighting Saints forward Adam Tisdale (Cochrane, Alberta/Clarkson University) was named the USHL Forward of the Week for his six points in the past three games. Included in this USHL Forward of the Week accolade is an unprecedented achievement in the long history of the United States Hockey League.
In a 5-4 win over the Sioux City Musketeers, Tisdale scored his second career hat trick in a four-point effort, and added two assists in a 3-1 victory over the Madison Capitols, en route to a weekend where the Fighting Saints picked up five standings points. His four-point effort on Friday matched a career high where he accomplished the exact same feat against the Central Illinois Flying Aces on November 11.
All of Tisdale’s six goals on the season have come as part of a hat trick. He ranks second in team scoring behind Alex Steeves.
The Albertan worked alongside Tyce Thompson (1 goal, 3 assists) and Taylor Schneider (1 goal, 2 assists) on a prolific line that carried the day in both Fighting Saints victories. Tisdale assisted on the game-winning goal by Schneider, and, additionally, he contributed to a night in which the Fighting Saints’ power play went a perfect three for three by scoring two of the team’s power play goals on Saturday night.
